EFC: founded in 1964

Founded in 1964 by Chieregatti Gianfranco with headquarters in Ponticella, small hamlet of San Lazzaro di Savena (Bologna), theE.F.C. was born as a cablerand works initially, ofwiring electrical and on board the machineon behalf of the MINGANTI company, manufacturer of machine tools. A couple of years later,in 1966, the design and construction of transformers.

Over the years, the high quality of the products has allowed the company to acquire on market the appreciation of the major companies in the provinces of Bologna in the sector industrial automation.

In 1976 the headquarters were moved to the current and larger location in Villanova di Castenaso (Bologna), where the greater space available made it possible to increase production in the various areas sectors. In 1981 EFC received the GOLDEN EAGLE award from the Italian referendum regions.

Over the years, Gianfranco was joined by his two sons: Gianluca in 1983 and Marco in 1989, who began to deal with design and programming PLC(hardware and software) in the automatic machines and electrical panels sector.

In January 2010 the E.F.C. di Chieregatti Gianfranco transfers the business and properties at E.F.C. Snc di Chieregatti Gianluca, Marco and c.

In 2015 the company expanded its production range with the addition of the following products:

> Single-phase and three-phase inductors

> Toroidal transformers

> High frequency transformers

> Audio transformers

> UV lamp components and power systems for the drying of inks and paints
